The Lynx Project provides free medical care to impoverished, oftentimes orphaned, and displaced youth within disenfranchised communities throughout the world, with the first area of focus being Africa.
Our goal is to provide medical care to children in need and reduce the prevalence of preventable life-threatening diseases, including HIV/AIDS, that often plague communities that do not have access to basic resources.
Our approach is multi-pronged. While we provide much-needed medical care to youth, we also engage them, and, if possible, their families and extended communities, in health education initiatives that promote behavior change, awareness and best practices for healthy living.
